Part of the Army’s mobile Opposing Force (OPFOR) training system, the ASET was designed to effectively train large force aircrews against any array of ground-based threats, including anti-aircraft artillery and infrared surface-to-air missiles. The program is excellent for large ranges and utilizes the ThreatBuilder software to allow operators to reprogram threat tactics with ease.

ASET is currently operational at Fort Irwin, California, Fort Polk, Louisiana, Fort Hood, Texas and Hohenfels, Germany.
