Army Ten-Miler

Proud Sponsor of the 2024 Army Ten-Miler

October 7, 2024

Now in its 40th year, over 459,685 runners have run ATM since its inception in 1985.

Army Ten-Miler

The Army’s annual Army Ten-Mile Race and Expo is conducted in our nation’s capital by the U.S. Army Military District of Washington (MDW).  Attracting over 35,000 runners and 900 teams from around the world, the Army Ten-Miler (ATM) exemplifies the Spirit of Sport and the Spirit of a Nation.  Participants include military, civilians, wheelchair athletes and wounded warrior athletes.   ATM’s mission is to support Army outreach, build morale, and promote physical fitness.

#DRSATM

Leonardo DRS has been proudly sponsoring the Army Ten-Miler for over 15 years. In 2009, we were honored to become one of the event’s first sponsors from the defense industry. Since then, personal investment has only increased. Today, it’s not a simple sponsorship; it’s a way for us to give back – a way to support the Army along with Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation programs.

Each year, Leonardo DRS employees participate in the race, and we also host our Selfie Spot in the Hooah Tent Zone where racers can snap a selfie in front of an image of the Pentagon as a backdrop to commemorate and then share their racing success on social media with #DRSATM.

Leonardo DRS and Move United

This year, Leonardo DRS is proud to join forces with Move United at the Army Ten Miler. The Leonardo DRS racing team will be joining the Move United Warfighters team, which will consist of several Wounded Warriors from Walter Reed Medical Center. We are honored to participate with Move United Warfighters as our combined teams race to the finish.
